Abstract. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) building of Gorontalo State University is a vital educational infrastructure and must have high structural resilience to support long-term academic activities. This study aims to identify non-structural physical damage and analyze the level of operational reliability of the building. This study uses qualitative methods and visual observations of the physical condition of the building, as well as data analysis regarding aspects of structure, architecture, utilities, and accessibility, thus allowing for grouping of levels of damage: light, moderate, to heavy. Data collection includes direct observation to identify the condition of the building to look for signs of damage. The results of the study showed that the most significant non-structural physical damage was found in the ceiling surface layer, peeling paint on the walls, and damage to door and window frames. From an operational perspective, the structural, architectural, and utility aspects were included in the reliable category with a presentation value above 95%. However, the accessibility aspect only achieved a total presentation of 65.85%, which fell into the unreliable or inadequate category. The results of this evaluation suggest the need for planned repair and maintenance measures, especially regarding accessibility facilities for people with disabilities, to maintain the continuity of the building's function.
