This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and remuneration on employee performance, as well as to examine the role of transformational leadership style as a moderating variable in the Jambi High Religious Court. This study uses a quantitative causality approach, data were collected from 70 respondents through a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study indicate that motivation and remuneration have a positive and significant effect on employee performance in the Jambi High Religious Court. In addition, this study also found that transformational leadership style is proven to significantly moderate and strengthen the relationship between motivation and numeracy on performance in the Jambi High Religious Court. This finding confirms that the presence of an inspirational leader is able to optimize the positive influence on motivation and the remuneration system on employee performance in increasing productivity and service quality in an agency.
