<![CDATA[This article details a training program designed to foster local creativity among students for fan income, specifically by utilizing organic waste in the form of areca nut leaves. This exercise is targeted at students to equip them with the practical experience and skills needed to produce the fan. This study uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. From a theoretical perspective, this paper focuses on the training process and direct involvement of students; They are given the opportunity to practice fan earnings from areca nut money, including every level from preparation and implementation to evaluation. This activity produces positive results, including the acquisition of practical skills, prevention of environmental pollution, and the creation of new opportunities to produce products that have market value. In addition to enhancing practical skills, this activity fosters awareness regarding the importance of organic waste management, helps mitigate potential environmental pollution, and broadens perspectives on business opportunities within the creative economy. Thus, training on crafting fans from areca palm sheaths serves as a form of community engagement that integrates skills education, environmental conservation, the utilization of local resources, and the development of an entrepreneurial spirit among students.]]>
