Low student engagement in learning activities and the suboptimal utilization of digital media are among the factors affecting students' learning outcomes in Economics. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the effect of implementing Padlet as a digital learning medium on students' learning outcomes in Economics at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all eleventh-grade students in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year who were enrolled in Economics courses. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling, with Class XI-4 (27 students) serving as the experimental group that implemented Padlet within the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and Class XI-5 (28 students) serving as the control group that applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model without Padlet. Data were collected using an objective test instrument consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions and were analyzed using an independent sample t-test through SPSS software. The results showed that the average improvement in learning outcomes (N-Gain) of the experimental group was 66.13%, which was higher than that of the control group at 44.30%. Furthermore, the Independent Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.002 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of Padlet has a significant effect and is more effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in Economics.
