<![CDATA[This study examines the utilization of systems thinking as a strategic method for governance and institutional oversight within Islamic higher education, specifically at Islamic Universiy of Al-Kifayah Riau. As educational institutions encounter growing complexity, systems thinking offers a comprehensive and adaptive framework for planning, development, and performance assessment. This research used a qualitative case study technique to examine how Islamic Universiy of Al-Kifayah incorporates systemic mechanisms into its governance structures, decision-making processes, and resource optimization. Data were gathered by comprehensive interviews, document examination, and participant observation. The findings indicate that the institution's leadership utilizes a feedback-driven methodology, connects strategic objectives with the institutional mission, and integrates several subsystems (academic, administrative, spiritual) to improve overall performance. Notwithstanding difficulties in consistency and system alignment, the study illustrates the potential of systems thinking to facilitate adaptive governance and suIslamic Universiy of ned institutional development in Islamic education contexts. The study enhances the conversation on educational reform by presenting a model for systematically administered Islamic institutions that integrates traditional values with modern management practices.]]>
