This study aims to examine the mastery of nadzam al-'imriti and students' nahwu competence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and to analyze whether the mastery of nadzam al-'imriti has a significant effect on students' nahwu competence. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The population consisted of 173 students, with a sample of 63 students selected through Probability Sampling using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through a written test consisting of multiple-choice and essay items, which were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results show that (1) students' mastery of nadzam al-'imriti falls into the low category (4485/7182 = 0.62, or 62% of the established criterion); (2) students' nahwu competence falls into the very low category (3116.88/5874.12 = 0.53, or 53% of the established criterion); and (3) there is a significant relationship between mastery of nadzam al-'imriti and students' nahwu competence, with a Correlation Coefficient of 0.436, which according to the interpretation guideline falls into the moderate category. These findings recommend strengthening the learning method for nadzam al-'imriti at Madrasah Tsanawiyah, both through memorization guidance and direct kitab-reading practice, so that students' nahwu competence can improve.
