<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the perceptions of cadets from the Yogyakarta College of Aviation Technology toward the service quality of SelfCheck-In machines at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, Makassar, and to identify the factors influencing their choice to use this service. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews with nine respondents, direct observations, and documentation. Data analysis followed the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, applying source triangulation to ensure the validity of findings. The results indicate that cadets generally have a positive perception, particularly regarding screen clarity, ease of use, and time efficiency. However, several improvements were noted, such as enhancing the visual interface, increasing the number of machines during peak hours, optimizing technical maintenance, and ensuring staff presence near the machines. Six main dimensions were identified as influencing service choice: time efficiency, machine location and quantity, screen display, potential technical failures, staff support and user education, and personal data security. The study recommends optimizing facilities, improving system reliability, and implementing user education strategies to enhance the utilization of SelfCheck-In services at the airport.]]>
