<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has generated multidimensional challenges that extend beyond public health concerns, affecting economic stability, social welfare, education, and poverty reduction efforts worldwide. Developing countries, particularly those with significant socioeconomic inequalities, continue to face difficulties in achieving inclusive and sustainable recovery. In this context, Islamic philanthropy—comprising zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf—offers substantial potential as a faith-based social finance mechanism capable of supporting sustainable development objectives. This article examines the prospects of integrating Islamic philanthropic instruments with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework established by the United Nations. Employing a qualitative literature review approach, the study analyzes scholarly publications, institutional reports, and policy documents related to Islamic social finance and sustainable development. The findings indicate that Islamic philanthropy shares normative and operational similarities with several SDGs, particularly those concerning poverty alleviation, quality education, healthcare access, gender equality, decent work, and reduced inequalities. The integration of Islamic philanthropy with SDG-oriented programs can strengthen resource mobilization, improve social protection systems, and enhance community resilience in the post-pandemic era. Furthermore, digital transformation and collaborative governance among governments, philanthropic institutions, civil society organizations, and international development agencies are essential for maximizing the effectiveness of Islamic social finance. The study concludes that aligning Islamic philanthropic practices with SDGs frameworks can contribute significantly to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development while preserving the ethical foundations of Islamic economic principles.]]>
