Inventory management is a crucial aspect of online business and marketing, as it directly impacts operational efficiency, stock data accuracy, and customer satisfaction. However, many business owners still face challenges with stock-taking processes due to manual record- keeping, which increases the risk of data errors, delayed stock updates, and discrepancies between physical stock and system records. This community service initiative aims to provide training on conducting stock-taking using Microsoft Excel—a tool that is user-friendly, efficient, and capable of supporting inventory control processes for online businesses. The methodology employed includes identifying user needs, designing recording formats, creating automated features using Excel formulas, and testing the stock recording and reporting processes. The results demonstrate that an Excel-based stock-taking system improves recording accuracy, accelerates stock reconciliation, simplifies inventory report generation, and facilitates decision-making regarding inventory management. Consequently, the developed system offers a practical, cost-effective, and effective solution for online business owners to optimize inventory management and support sustainable marketing activities.
