<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the process of social integration through interethnic marriages between the Malay and Chinese communities and its impact on fostering social harmony in Kuto Panji Village, Belinyu Subdistrict, Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The research problem is motivated by the phenomenon of interethnic marriage as part of the social dynamics of a multiethnic society that not only unites two individuals but also brings together diverse cultural differences, social values, and traditions. This study employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The study's informants consisted of interethnic Malay-Chinese married couples, the couples' families, community leaders, and members of the surrounding community. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research findings indicate that the process of social integration through interethnic marriages between Malay and Chinese individuals occurs in stages, beginning with the implementation of marriage ceremonies, family acceptance, and ongoing cultural adjustment in household life through acculturation without eliminating each cultural identity. The driving factors include effective communication, mutual respect, tolerance, educational background, economic conditions, intensity of social interaction, and family and community support. Interethnic marriage yields positive impacts in the form of increased tolerance, solidarity, social cooperation, cross-ethnic kinship relations, and strengthened social harmony within a multiethnic society.]]>
