<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the emergence of various forms of juvenile delinquency in Jambak Nagari, Lubuk Sikaping Subdistrict, Pasaman Regency, such as smoking, fighting, bullying, and staying out late at night. Juvenile delinquency is influenced by internal factors originating from adolescents themselves and external factors arising from their environment. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to juvenile delinquency, the efforts undertaken by the nagari government to address it, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Research informants were selected using purposive sampling and consisted of nagari officials, community leaders, youth organizations, parents, and adolescents. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity was assessed through source and method triangulation, while data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that juvenile delinquency in Jambak Nagari is influenced by internal factors, such as identity crisis and weak self-control, as well as external factors, including family conditions, peer influence, and social media. To address juvenile delinquency, the nagari government implements preventive efforts through seminars and counseling, as well as arts, sports, and religious activities. In addition, persuasive efforts are carried out through problem-solving by deliberation and a family-oriented approach, along with providing advice, reprimands, and moral guidance. The study also identifies several inhibiting and supporting factors affecting the efforts to address juvenile delinquency among the parties involved.]]>
