This study examines the integration of Islamic political values into state governance through an analysis of political verses in the Tafsir Hidayatul Insan by Abu Yahya Marwan Hadidi bin Musa. The research aims to describe the concept of Islamic politics presented in the tafsir, to analyze key values such as justice, trust (amanah), deliberation (shura), and equality, and to assess their relevance to Indonesian contemporary socio-political context. This study employed a qualitative method using a thematic tafsir approach to Quranic verses with political dimensions, particularly Surah Al-Maidah (5:8), An-Nisa (4:58–59), Ash-Shura (42:38), and Al-Hujurat (49:13). The findings indicated that Tafsir Hidayatul Insan conceptualizes political authority as a divine trust that must be exercised in accordance with principles of justice, integrity, accountability, and public welfare. The Islamic political values articulated in this tafsir do not conflict with modern democratic systems; rather, they provide an ethical foundation that can strengthen just, ethical, and inclusive political practices. This study affirms the contribution of Quranic principles to fostering dignified governance that remains relevant to the contemporary Indonesian political context.
