<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of two-dimensional learning media in improving elementary school students’ conceptual understanding. Using a qualitative literature review approach, the study examines relevant journals, books, and scientific articles. The findings indicate that two-dimensional media, including images, diagrams, and animations, help visualize abstract concepts, increase students’ interest and motivation, and improve learning outcomes. The review shows that these media are particularly effective in mathematics and science learning while also enhancing student engagement. However, their effectiveness depends on teachers’ competence in selecting and implementing appropriate media, as well as the availability of supporting facilities. Challenges such as limited resources and insufficient teacher skills remain. Therefore, integrating two-dimensional learning media systematically through teacher professional development and improved educational facilities is essential to maximize students’ conceptual understanding.]]>
