<![CDATA[Pain is one of the complications commonly experienced by mothers after cesarean section (SC). Pain management includes pharmacological therapy using analgesic drugs and non-pharmacological therapy through deep breathing relaxation and finger-hold techniques. This study used a Quasi-Experimental design with a two-group with control approach involving an intervention group and a control group. The population consisted of 477 post-cesarean section mothers, with a sample of 84 respondents divided equally into the intervention and control groups (42 each), selected using accidental sampling. Before treatment, the control group was dominated by severe pain (25 respondents; 59.52%) and moderate pain (17 respondents; 40.48%), while the intervention group was dominated by severe pain (27 respondents; 64.29%) and moderate pain (15 respondents; 35.71%). After the finger-hold and deep breathing relaxation techniques were given, the intervention group’s pain decreased to moderate (26 respondents; 61.91%), mild (15 respondents; 35.71%), with only 1 respondent (2.38%) still experiencing severe pain. The control group after standard therapy only reached moderate pain in 23 respondents (54.77%), with 19 respondents (45.23%) still experiencing severe pain.
