Anemia in pregnant women heightens the risk of maternal and fetal complications, primarily caused by increased iron demands that exceed intake. Alongside standard iron (Fe) supplementation, safe complementary therapies like honey consumption are needed to aid hemoglobin formation through its iron, vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant contents. This study aims to determine the effect of honey consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women at Santosa Hospital Bandung Kopo in 2026. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest) was employed. A sample of 40 pregnant women was selected using the Slovin formula. Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after the intervention using a digital Hb meter and analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test. Results revealed that most respondents were aged 20–35 years (72.5%) and multiparous (90.0%). Mean hemoglobin levels significantly increased from 9.59 g/dL pre-intervention to 10.95 g/dL post-intervention. The Paired Sample t-test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant effect of honey consumption on elevating hemoglobin levels. In conclusion, honey consumption serves as an effective complementary therapy alongside iron supplementation to improve hemoglobin levels during pregnancy.
