Holistic health is a relevant approach to addressing the complexities of modern public health. The integration of modern medical science and Islamic spiritual values offers a framework for health management that encompasses physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects. This article examines the concept of ‘Smart Islamic Wellness’ as a model for holistic health management training that integrates modern medical science with the values of Nusantara Islamic Education. The method employed was a literature review using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate that Nusantara Islamic Education possesses unique characteristics that integrate Islamic values with local wisdom, making it suitable for development into a holistic health model based on local wisdom. This integration has been shown to enhance the overall effectiveness of health management. The Smart Islamic Wellness model comprises four main pillars: physical health based on evidence-based medicine; mental health through a psychospiritual approach; social health through community values; and spiritual health through religious practices. In conclusion, this integration offers a contextual and sustainable holistic health management approach for the Indonesian people.
