<![CDATA[Education plays a strategic role in shaping human resources and serves as the primary foundation for the development of civilization. In the era of globalization and digital transformation, educational systems are expected not only to develop intellectual competence but also to cultivate moral values and social responsibility. Ibn Khaldun's educational thought, as presented in Al-Muqaddimah, offers a comprehensive perspective on the relationship between education and the progress of civilization. This study aims to critically examine Ibn Khaldun's educational philosophy and analyze its relevance to contemporary educational development. This research employed a qualitative approach using library research. The primary data source was Al-Muqaddimah, while secondary data were collected from scholarly journals, books, and other relevant academic publications. Data were gathered through documentation techniques and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The findings indicate that Ibn Khaldun viewed education as a holistic process that develops intellectual, moral, spiritual, and social dimensions of human beings. Furthermore, education functions as the main instrument for producing qualified human resources, strengthening social solidarity ('asabiyyah), and fostering sustainable civilization. The study concludes that Ibn Khaldun's educational thought remains relevant for addressing contemporary educational challenges, particularly in character education, critical thinking, and sustainable human development.]]>
