<![CDATA[Students in the Office Administration Education program are prepared to become vocational high school (SMK) teachers specializing in Office Management and Business Services (MPLB); however, student interest in enrolling in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) remains relatively low. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceptions of the teaching profession, career motivation, and educational costs on students’ interest in enrolling in the PPG. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis processed with SPSS version 32 software. The results indicate that (1) perceptions of the teaching profession do not significantly influence students’ interest in participating in the PPG; (2) career motivation significantly influences students’ interest in participating in the PPG; (3) educational costs significantly influence students’ interest in participating in the PPG. These findings indicate that students’ interest in enrolling in the PPG program is more influenced by career motivation and educational costs. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen career motivation through outreach on the career prospects of professional teachers, as well as the provision of funding schemes such as scholarships or PPG subsidies to reduce financial barriers and increase students’ interest in enrolling in the PPG program.]]>
