Violence against children in Cilegon City remains a serious issue that requires integrated supervision and control. The Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Women and Child Protection (UPTD PPA) plays a strategic role in ensuring that prevention, case handling, assistance, and protection for child victims of violence are implemented effectively. This study aims to analyze the supervision strategies implemented by UPTD PPA in controlling violence against children in Cilegon City and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in their implementation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively based on their involvement in and knowledge of child protection services. The results show that UPTD PPA’s supervision strategy is carried out through monitoring reported cases, coordinating with the police, health facilities, local government, schools, and communities, as well as providing psychological and legal assistance to victims. However, implementation continues to face several challenges, including limited human resources, inadequate supporting facilities, low public awareness of reporting cases, and coordination that has not been fully optimized. In conclusion, UPTD PPA’s supervision strategy has been implemented, but it needs to be strengthened through improved human resource capacity, supporting facilities, cross-sector coordination, and public education to achieve more effective and sustainable control of violence against children.
