<![CDATA[The depreciation of the rupiah against foreign currencies has contributed to rising inflation, which directly affects the purchasing power of the community, including university students. This study aims to analyze the impact of consumption inflation caused by the weakening rupiah on students' shopping behavior and lifestyle. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving ten student informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that inflation has significantly influenced students' consumption patterns. Students tend to prioritize essential needs, reduce discretionary spending, seek more affordable products, and adopt financial management strategies to cope with increasing living costs. Although some students maintain a consumptive lifestyle due to social and technological influences, most respondents have become more selective and rational in making purchasing decisions. The study concludes that consumption inflation resulting from the weakening rupiah has altered students' shopping behavior and encouraged a more adaptive lifestyle.]]>
