<![CDATA[This study aimed to improve the reading aloud skills of third-grade students at SD GMIM 88 Manado through the application of the guided practice method. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The participants consisted of 11 third-grade students. Each cycle included planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through observation, reading aloud tests, and documentation. The results showed that the guided practice method improved students' reading aloud skills. In Cycle I, the average score was 63.11 with a learning mastery percentage of 36.36%. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 78.18 with a mastery percentage of 81.82%. These findings indicate that the guided practice method effectively improves reading fluency, pronunciation accuracy, intonation, and students’ confidence in reading aloud.]]>
