<![CDATA[TThis study aims to analyze the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in strengthening students’ character education in response to the influence of Korean Pop (K-Pop) culture among Grade X-7 students at SMA Negeri 2 Metro. The growing popularity of K-Pop among adolescents may influence students’ attitudes, lifestyles, and religious discipline, thereby requiring character-based moral guidance. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that Islamic Religious Education teachers play a strategic role through instructional activities, role modeling, and direct moral guidance in internalizing Islamic values. Teachers encourage students to develop a selective and critical attitude toward popular culture, enabling them to balance entertainment with faith and moral responsibility. Students are guided to adopt positive values from K-Pop while avoiding behaviors that contradict Islamic teachings.
