This study aims to examine the implementation of a talaqqi-based Tahfidz (Quran memorization) level-grouping strategy in addressing students' difficulties in memorizing the Quran. The study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The results indicate that the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is implemented by grouping students according to their memorization abilities and the quality of their Quranic recitation. The talaqqi method is applied through the teacher reciting verses—which the students then repeat—and the direct recitation of memorized passages for verification. This strategy helps students improve their recitation, enhance memorization fluency, and build self-confidence. In conclusion, the talaqqi-based Tahfidz level-grouping strategy is considered effective in overcoming the Quran memorization difficulties faced by eighth-grade students at SMPIT Insan Harapan Karawang.
