<![CDATA[This study aimed to develop a Pop Up Book learning media based on the Group Investigation model on the Excretory System topic for eighth-grade students at SMP N Karya Makmur and to determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research sample consisted of 9 students in the small-group trial and 24 students in the large-group trial. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests, and were analyzed using percentage techniques and the N-Gain formula. The results showed that the developed media achieved validity scores of 98% from the language expert, 92% from the material expert, and 96% from the media expert, all categorized as highly valid. The practicality test results showed percentages of 96% from the teacher and 94% from the students, indicating that the media was highly practical. The media was also effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase in the average score from 38.38 to 76.75, with an N-Gain score of 0.62, categorized as moderate. Therefore, the Pop Up Book learning media based on the Group Investigation model on the Excretory System topic is considered highly valid, highly practical, and effective in improving students’ learning outcomes.]]>
