<![CDATA[Textile waste and unused clothing remain environmental issues that require creative and sustainable utilization. This community service activity aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in transforming textile waste into functional shopping bags that are unique and environmentally friendly. The activity was conducted by the Independent Community Service Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung on August 15, 2026, at Galeri Ruang UMKM, Pahoman, Bandar Lampung, involving 20 participants. The activities included education on waste utilization, a textile waste processing workshop, hands-on shopping bag production, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. The results showed that each participant successfully produced one shopping bag. The participants’ average score increased from 54.9 to 87.4, representing an increase of 32.5 points or 59.2%, with all participants showing improvement. The activity also encouraged greater awareness of textile reuse and the dissemination of acquired skills to surrounding communities as an effort to sustain the program.]]>
