This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing efficiency principles and quality standards on the quality of basic education services in Mawasangka Tengah District, Central Buton Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design. The population consisted of principals, teachers, and educational staff working in elementary education institutions within the research area. The sample consisted of 80 respondents selected using proportionate random sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, normality and multicollinearity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination using SPSS. The results showed that efficiency principles had a positive and significant effect on the quality of educational services, with a regression coefficient of 0.386 and a significance value of 0.000. Quality standards also had a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.427 and a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, efficiency principles and quality standards significantly affected the quality of educational services, as indicated by an F value of 48.762 and a significance value of 0.000. The R Square value of 0.560 indicated that the two independent variables explained 56.0% of the variation in service quality, while the remaining 44.0% was explained by other factors outside the research model. These findings emphasize the importance of efficient resource management and consistent implementation of quality standards in improving the quality of basic education services.
