The objective of this study was to determine the improvement in learning outcomes among of the 5th grade students at MIN 17 Pidie after the implementation of the make a match cooperative learning model. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was conducted over three cycles, comprising the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 34 of the 5th students, consisting of 22 girls and 12 boys. The results showed the following average scores and mastery percentages across the cycles: Cycle I yielded an average of 65 and a mastery rate of 41.18%; Cycle II yielded 75.29 and 70.58%; and Cycle III yielded 92.35 and 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the make a match cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes.
