<![CDATA[The world of work provides opportunities for students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies. One of the things related to this is the career adaptability that students need to have. This study aims to determine the effect of parental social support on career adaptability in students of batch 2021 - 2023 of Jambi University Guidance and Counseling study program with a total population of 327 students. The research method used in this research is the ex post facto method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample size of 180 students. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire or survey. The results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant influence between parental social support and career adaptability in students (p = 0.000 <0.05), while the level of social support is in the high classification and the level of career adaptability is also in the high classification. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted. According to the research findings, career adaptability can be improved by doing career development, career exploration, career counseling, and career guidance. This study can help students to be more aware that parental support is very valuable in their career development.]]>
