<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of communication skills and emotional intelligence on the effectiveness of group work in Economic Education students, Class of 2023, FKIP, Jambi University, both partially and simultaneously. This study uses an explanatory design with a quantitative approach and a deductive approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire to 89 Economic Education students, Class of 2023, FKIP, Jambi University. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 27.0. The results showed that communication skills had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of group work (β = 0.671; p = 0.002), emotional intelligence had a positive and significant effect (β = 0.890; p = 0.001), and both variables simultaneously had a significant effect on the effectiveness of group work with an Adjusted R² value of 0.482. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the influence of communication skills and emotional intelligence on the effectiveness of group work in Economic Education students, Class of 2023, FKIP, Jambi University as a basis for strengthening collaborative learning in higher education.]]>
