This study was motivated by the importance of language politeness in students’ communication within educational settings, particularly through the use of personal pronouns and forms of address that reflect social relationships, respect, and language ethics. The study aimed to describe the forms of language politeness through the use of personal pronouns and forms of address in the communication of Class X E students at MA Aisyiyah Sungguminasa. This study employed a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The research data consisted of students’ utterances containing personal pronouns and forms of address, while the data sources were obtained from students’ communication interactions within the school environment. Data collection techniques included observation, listening, note-taking, recording, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students used various forms of personal pronouns such as saya, gue, nakke, kau, ko, lo, and kalian, as well as clitic forms such as -ka’, -ta’, and -ku. In addition, forms of address found in the study included personal names, kinship terms, and other informal forms of address. Students’ language use was influenced by situational context, level of familiarity, emotional factors, and interference from regional languages into Indonesian. The study concludes that the use of personal pronouns and forms of address plays an important role in maintaining language politeness and harmonious communication within the school environment, so the findings can serve as a reference for fostering students’ language ethics in educational settings.
