Abstract

Abstract: The Study of Language Attitudes of Semester VI Students in 2019 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar. This study aimed to describe the factors that determine language attitudes and attitudes towards Indonesian language in semester VI of 2019 Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive analysis research that describes or qualitatively explains the description of a situation. Data collection techniques include interviews, records, and direct observation. The results of this study indicated that the language attitude of students had shown positive language attitude factors in situations and conditions that were in accordance with the ongoing situation. Also, students of semester VI 2019 attitude towards Indonesian Language in Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program, Muhammadiyah University, Makassar had shown pride, loyalty, and awareness of the existence of language norms.Keywords: Language attitude, qualitative descriptive, students.

Abstract

This study discusses the descriptions of the use and deviation of the principle of Indonesian politeness in the Campus of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. This research was conducted in two stages, namely data collection and data analysis phase. Stage of data collection was conducted in a form of field research to get primary data by using observation technique through data card, while at data analysis phase the reserachers used qualitative descriptive analysis. The analysis was used to obtain a description of the form of maxim application in the conversation of the students of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The result of the research showed that the element of language politeness was still less applied in the conversation of the student. This indicated that there were various factors that accompanied the communication process. Among these were the situation of conversation, the object being discussed, the individual user of the language involved, less able to see the suitability and accuracy of vocabulary usage in the conversation. This could be seen from the use and the maximal deviation in the conversation through the principle of language politeness proposed by Leech, including maxim of wisdom, maxim of acceptance, maxim of generosity, maxim of humility, maxim of agreement, and maxim of sympathy.

Abstract

activity is the most essential activity in human life. This is true, because communicating is not just about delivering and receiving information, but also expression, asking for responses and responding with all the complexities of language that are not always realized by everyone. Bahasa Indonesia as a means to think logically, analytically, creatively, and systematically makes one can easily make new innovations in everyday life especially in education. The 1945 Constitution explains Indonesia's position as a language of unity is very strong. Article 36 reads, "The language of the country is the Indonesian language". The broader translation of this article can mean that the use of the Indonesian language is an obligation for every state interest and governance matters. Consequently, conservation efforts, fostering, and developing the Indonesian language are the responsibility of every citizen. The importance of fostering and developing Indonesian language is taught in all levels of education, from elementary, secondary, to college. Indonesian language learning can not be separated from learning to read, write, listen, and speak. Humans can acquire the skills of speaking and listening naturally, because both are normal human nature. While the skills of writing and reading can only be obtained through exercises and with mastery of certain concepts. Writing skills is a demand for everyone to master, especially for those who move or live in the academic world. Writing skill is one of the subjects taught to the students of Indonesian Language and Literature Studies Program at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Discourse can be used as a means to train students' writing skills. Selection of learning model is also very important to elicit enthusiastic students when following the lecture. The Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model is a model that includes reading and writing skills. The application of the model is expected to help students in pouring the idea that the text is not only read in their own circles but also can be published to be enjoyed by the general public.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the form of learning to the principles of language politeness in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program Students, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the data collection stage and the data analysis stage. The data collection stage was carried out through field research to obtain primary data using observation techniques and notes on the data card, while at the data analysis stage the authors used qualitative descriptive analysis. This analysis is used to obtain an overview of the form of maximizing the application of student conversations. The results obtained show that adherence to the principles of politeness is still a concern of students when speaking well with fellow students, especially towards lecturers. This indicates that the supporting factors for the realization of good communication are well understood and realized. The supporting factors are the conversation situation, the object being discussed, the individual language users involved, being able to see the appropriateness and accuracy of the use of vocabulary in the conversation. The use of maxims in conversation through the principles of language politeness put forward by Leech, including the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of acceptance, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of humility, the maxim of agreement and the maxim of sympathy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in writing short stories in the Indonesian language class IV at Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School. The type of research is descriptive qualitative and the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display and conlusion drawing. And the data source data in this study were all 4th graders of Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School, Makassar City. The data techniques in this study were the distribution of test sheets, student and teacher interviews and documentation in the research conducted at Ulumul Islam Bakri Wahid Elementary School.The results of this study indicate that the ability level of students in writing short stories is still low. Based on the results of writing short stories that have been made by students and the results of interviews conducted by teachers and students with researchers, it shows that the difficulties experienced by students are difficulties in expressing ideas, limited vocabulary and difficulty determining the structure of short stories so that students have difficulty in making a story. short.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the creative thinking abilities of fifth grade students at SDN Gunung Sari II Makassar in learning Indonesian after using the Video-Based Contextual Teaching Learning Model and the influence of using the Video-Based Contextual Teaching Learning Model on students' creative thinking abilities in class students' Indonesian language learning. V SDN Gunung Sari II Makassar. This research uses the Experimental Design research method. The population in this study were all class V students at SDN Gunung Sari II Makassar. The sampling technique used was a total sampling technique or saturated sampling with experimental class and control class samples. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of essay questions to measure student learning outcomes with Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design. Based on the research results, it shows that the Pancasila Education learning outcomes of students in the experimental class after using the Video-Based Contextual Teaching Learning Model were 100% in the very creative category, while in the control class it was 87.5% in the creative category. Meanwhile, the effect of using the Video-Based Contextual Teaching Learning Model on the ability to think creatively in learning Indonesian for class V students at SDN Gunung Sari II from the results of hypothesis management obtained Sig (2.Tailed) = 0.000, meaning that H0 is rejected because Sig (2.Tailed) < α or (0.000 < 0.05). H1 is accepted because Sig (Tailed) > α or (0.788 > 0.05) with the results of the T test analysis, Sig < ttable or (0.392 < 1.753). So the influence of using the Video-Based Contextual Teaching Learning Model on students' creative thinking abilities in learning Indonesian for class V students is influential at SDN Gunung Sari II Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of speaking skills through the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model for third grade students of SD Negeri 39 Pattongko Tellulimpoe District, Sinjai Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, each cycle is held three times a meeting. This research procedure includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The data sources of this research were 1 teacher and 21 students of class III of SD Negeri 39 Pattongko Tellulimpoe District, Sinjai Regency. The results showed that learning speaking skills through the Student Facilitator And Explaining learning model improved both in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The assessment was carried out by paying attention to six aspects of assessment including speech accuracy, grammatical accuracy, speech fluency, word selection, mastery of topics, and voice volume also increased. The overall average student score in cycle I was 70.3 while the score in cycle II was 87.76 with a percentage increase of 17.46% which met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 70. All aspects of the assessment were classified as moderate in cycle I and increased to a very high category in cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi yang terjadi dalam interaksi antara pedagang dan pembeli di pasar tradisional. Pasar Karuwisi Makassar, sebagai ruang sosial yang dinamis, menjadi tempat berlangsungnya berbagai bentuk komunikasi yang memengaruhi proses jual beli. Tindak tutur ilokusi berhubungan dengan maksud atau tujuan yang terkandung dalam sebuah perintah, permintaan, atau tawaran. Di sisi lain, tindak tutur lokusi merujuk pada ungkapan yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan pesan secara eksplisit. Adapun tindak tutur perlokusi menitikberatkan pada efek yang ditimbulkan oleh ucapan tersebut terhadap respons pendengar. Pola komunikasi antara pedagang dan pembeli ini dipengaruhi oleh aspek sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi yang khas di lingkungan pasar tradisional. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa memahami ketiga komponen tindak tutur ini sangat penting untuk menjelaskan bagaimana percakapan di Pasar Karuwisi Makassar berperan tidak hanya sebagai sarana transaksi, tetapi juga sebagai medium untuk membangun hubungan sosial dan budaya antara pedagang dan pembeli. Penelitian ini memberikan perspektif mendalam tentang kompleksitas komunikasi di pasar tradisional, yang melibatkan tidak hanya aspek ekonomi, tetapi juga dimensi sosial yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Index Card Match Dalam Membedakan Fakta Dan Opini Pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN No.196 Inpres Bontomajannang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran index card match dalam pembelajaran membedakan fakta dan opini pada siswa kelas IVSDN No.196 Inpres Bontomajannang Kecamatan Galesong Utara Kabupaten Takalar. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Desings. Desain penelitian One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Dalam penelitian ini hasil perlakuan dapat diketahui lebih akurat. karena dapat membandingkan dengan keadaan sebelum diberi perlakuan (treatment).. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV berjumlah 23 siswa di SDN No. 196 Inpres Bontomajannang. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada nilai pretest diperoleh 59,57. Namun setelah menggunakan model index card match diperoleh 80,65 pada nilai posttest. Rata-rata nilai siswa kelas IV berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Selanjutnnya diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis pada Sig (2.Tailed) yaitu 0,007 artinya H0 ditolak H₁ diterima karena Sig (2.Tailed)< α atau (0,01< 0,00). H1 diterima karena Sig (Tailed)> α atau (1,411> 0,01) dengan hasil analisis uji T, Sig< ttabel atau (073<0,00), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran index card match dengan tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran index card match dalam membedakan fakta dan opinipada siswa kelas IV SDN No.196 Inpres Bontomajannang.
