<![CDATA[The fashion industry is growing rapidly, but it also raises various environmental issues such as textile waste, water pollution, overproduction, and unsustainable consumption due to the fast fashion trend. In response, the concept of sustainable fashion emerged, emphasizing the principles of recycling, reuse, upcycling, and the use of environmentally friendly materials. Fashion education plays a crucial role in fostering environmental awareness and a sustainable mindset in aspiring fashion designers. This article aims to examine the contribution of fashion education in supporting sustainable fashion through the learning process, developing creativity, and fostering responsible behavior. The method used is a literature review of various journals, books, and academic sources. The results of the study indicate that fashion education supports the implementation of sustainable fashion through curriculum integration, sustainable design practices, and the utilization of textile waste. However, challenges remain, including low sustainability literacy and high interest in fast fashion.]]>
