This study was motivated by the limited use of innovative learning media in Islamic Religious Education (IRE), indicating the need for more engaging, interactive, and technology-based instructional media. The study aimed to develop CapCut AI-assisted animated videos for Grade II IRE learning at SDN 17 Kubang Putih and to evaluate their validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects included an IRE teacher and 13 Grade II students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and learning achievement tests, and were analyzed descriptively using percentage calculations. The validation results showed scores of 98% for the media aspect, 98% for the content aspect, and 96.67% for the language aspect, all categorized as highly valid. The practicality test obtained a score of 100%, indicating that the media was highly practical. The effectiveness assessment by the teacher reached 100%, while the students’ average learning achievement score was 97.69 with 100% classical mastery. Therefore, the CapCut AI-assisted animated videos were considered valid, practical, and effective as supporting media for Grade II IRE learning. The final product consisted of four animated videos, each lasting 3–5 minutes, covering the topic Let’s Practice Noble Character.
