This research was motivated by the limited availability of instructional media for learning children's home clothing pattern construction, which prevented students from reviewing the material independently. The study aimed to develop a valid and practical learning video on children's home clothing pattern making for the Children's Clothing course. This research and development (R&D) study employed the Four-D (4-D) model, comprising Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and assessment questionnaires. Validity was assessed by four validators (two material experts and two media experts), while practicality was evaluated by the course lecturer and students in two trial stages: a small-group trial (10 students) and a large-group trial (32 students). Results showed a material validation score of 94.42% and a media validation score of 93.67%, yielding an overall average validity of 94.05% (highly valid). The lecturer's practicality assessment scored 95.92% (highly practical), while the small-group and large-group trials achieved 87.33% and 93.72%, respectively, indicating that the developed learning video was highly practical overall. These findings suggest that the learning video is feasible for use as an instructional medium in the Children's Clothing course.
