These skills are very important for science education students, especially in carrying out practicum activities. The sample used in this study consisted of 12 science education students in their early semester. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive. Data in the study were obtained directly from the research subjects. This study used a rubric to assess collaboration skills, with scores ranging from 1 to 4. The research instruments have been validated by five Science Education lecturers and are deemed feasible for measuring students' collaboration skills. The research results, based on the indicators of Contribution, Problem Solving, Working with Others, Time Management, and Investigation Techniques, showed average scores of 3.75, 3.33, 4.00, and 3.50, with all indicators falling into the very good category, while the overall average score was 3.67. The data show that the collaboration skills of science education students during laboratory sessions are very good. The results of this study indicate that collaboration skills play an important role in supporting the success of the learning process. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that early-semester science education students already have very good collaboration skills during practicum activities, as reflected in high achievement across all measured indicators. Therefore, these findings have significant implications both theoretically and practically in the field of education.
