<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Buzz Group Collaborative Learning Technique Learning Model on students' learning interests in Indonesian Language Class X Culinary subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Lingsar, West Lombok Regency. This research was motivated by initial observations that showed that the variety of teachers' learning models was still limited, so that the learning process seemed monotonous and had an impact on the low activity and interest in learning of students. The study uses a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving all 64 students of Class X Culinary as a saturated sample. Data were collected through Likert scale learning interest questionnaires, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using a t-test (paired sample t-test) after meeting the requirements for normality and homogeneity of data. The results showed that the average learning interest score increased from 77.25 in the pretest to 97.45 in the posttest, with an average difference of 20.20 points. The hypothesis test obtained a t-value of -14.057, df 128, and a significance of 0.000 (<0.05), so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. These findings prove that the application of the Buzz Group technique has a significant effect on increasing students' interest in learning, in line with Vygotsky's theory of social interdependence and Barkley's view of collaborative learning. This study recommends the Buzz Group technique as an alternative effective learning strategy to foster the interest in learning Indonesian of vocational school students, as well as suggest further research with a control group experimental design to strengthen the validity of the findings.]]>
