<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the principal's management in developing a literacy program at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Batanghari. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. The research participants consisted of the principal, librarian, teachers, and other stakeholders involved in the literacy program. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data trustworthiness was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that the principal implemented the core management functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the literacy program. The planning stage involved aligning literacy goals with the school's vision and mission, designing literacy activities, establishing a literacy team, and providing supporting facilities. Organizing was carried out by involving all school members with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Program implementation emphasized daily reading habits before classroom instruction, library utilization, classroom reading corners, and teacher collaboration. Evaluation was conducted through regular monitoring, coordination meetings, and reflective discussions to improve program effectiveness. Although the literacy program has been implemented effectively, several challenges remain, including limited book collections, unequal literacy facilities across classrooms, and varying levels of students' reading interest. This study proposes a conceptual model of literacy program management in which planning, organizing, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement constitute an integrated management cycle for strengthening a sustainable literacy culture in Islamic senior secondary schools.]]>
