Waste is residual material discarded as a result of a process. However, not all waste is useless. Some waste can be processed into something beneficial. The eco-enzyme and its derivative workshop activity is one of the community service programs that utilizes organic waste. The Faculty of Biosciences, Technology, and Innovation in collaboration with the Unika Atma Jaya Dormitory provides education to students residing there. The method is divided into two stages: making eco-enzyme and creating organic liquid soap using eco-enzyme. Additionally, workshop participants receive education through material presentations from relevant speakers on the topic. Based on the results of pre-tests and post-tests, there was an increase in knowledge about eco-enzyme and its derivatives. Moreover, the practice of making eco-enzyme from organic waste, such as leftover fruit and vegetable peels, helps reduce environmental pollution. The utilization and application of eco-enzyme are diverse, including organic liquid fertilizer, cleaning agents, skin treatments, and many more. Thus, this activity is expected to have a positive impact on both people and the environment.
