<![CDATA[This project aims to develop and implement an incinerator as an alternative method for managing residual waste in Karundang Village, Serang City. The project was carried out through an assessment of waste management conditions, site coordination, design, construction, initial testing, and handover of the equipment. The incinerator was built using lightweight concrete blocks, lightweight concrete, sand, rebar, broken lightweight concrete blocks, and moistened coconut husks as a filtration medium. Initial testing was conducted on August 24, 2026, using approximately 40 kg of dry waste without any additional fuel. Visual observations were made of the flame, smoke, combustion duration, and residue. The test results showed that the flame appeared strong at the start of combustion and its intensity began to decrease after about 10 minutes, while the waste had not yet been completely burned. Approximately 3 kg of residue remained, and relatively little smoke was visible after the combustion stabilized. These results indicate that the incinerator was suitable for use in initial testing as an alternative waste management method; however, it cannot yet be used to quantitatively determine combustion efficiency or the effectiveness of filtration and emission reduction, as temperature, emissions, and particulate matter were not measured. Following the testing, the equipment was handed over to the Karundang Subdistrict Office for further use and maintenance.]]>
