Abstract

Perilaku merokok merupakan perilaku yang membakar salah satu produk tembakau yang dimaksudkan untuk dibakar, dihisap dan atau dihirup termasuk rokok kretek, rokok putih, cerutu atau bentuk lainnya yang dihasilkan dari tanaman nicotina tabacum, nicotinarustica dan spesies lainnya atau sintetisnya yang asapnya mengandung nikotin dan tar, dengan atau tanpa bahan tambahan. Hasil menunjukkan adanya masyarakat yang berperilaku merokok sebanyak 33 orang. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu mampu mengimplementasikan IPTEKS yang dikuasai untuk mengindentifikasi masalah kesehatan masyarakat, menetapkan penyebab masalah serta memberikan alternatif penyelesaian masalah kesehatan di suatu wilayah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penyuluhan ini yaitu masyarakat yang hadir pada saat penyuluhan yang berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan, dimana skor pengetahuan sebelum penyuluhan yaitu 11.00 dan setelah penyuluhan sebesar 12.64. Saran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai bahayanya perilaku merokok bisa digunakan dengan metode lain seperti promosi kesehatan massa atau kelompok misalnya menyampaikan informasi melalui khotbah Jumat dan acara Majelis Taklim.Kata Kunci: Merokok, Pretest dan Postest, Pengabdian Masyarakat

Abstract

Perkawinan yang tercatat merupakan perkawinan yang sah dan diakui keabsahannya menurut hukum agama dan hukum negara. Perkawinan tersebut harus dicatat oleh Pegawai Pencatat Nikah yang berada di setiap Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) pada setiap kecamatan. Pencatatan perkawinan dilakukan sebagai bentuk legalitas hukum bagi setiap orang yang telah menikah. Pernikahan yang telah dicatat dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya kutipan akta nikah/buku nikah yang diserahkan oleh Pegawai Pencatat Nikah kepada setiap mempelai suami dan istri sesaat setelah dilangsungkannya perkawinan. Buku nikah tersebut harus disimpan dengan baik oleh suami ataupun istri agar tidak terjadi kerusakan atau bahkan hilang. Sebab keberadaan buku nikah sangat vital dalam sistem administrasi kependudukan di Indonesia. Kenyataannya, banyak masyarakat yang belum begitu menyadari pentingnya keberadaan buku nikah tersebut. Sehingga buku nikah tersebut rusak atau bahkan hilang. Ketika terjadi kehilangan buku nikah tersebut, tak sedikit dari masyarakat yang tidak memperdulikan bahkan acuh tak acuh serta tidak segera mengurus kehilangan buku tersebut. Di samping itu, banyak masyarakat yang enggan mengurus kerusakan atau kehilangan buku nikah dikarenakan proses pengurusannya yang dianggap rumit dan memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Tulisan ini akan membahas mengenai proses permohonan penerbitan duplikat buku nikah di Kantor Urusan Agama bagi masyarakat yang buku nikahnya rusak atau hilang.

Abstract

Javanese language learning has an important role in preserving regional culture and identity. This research aims to examine the role of a dhalang as a role model in developing Javanese speaking skills in elementary school (SD) students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques as well as through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research indicate that a dhalang can function as an inspiration and motivator for students in learning Javanese. Through an interactive wayang method full of dialogue, students can more easily understand Javanese vocabulary and sentence structures. Apart from that, the presence of dhalang in learning activities provides a pleasant learning atmosphere and strengthens students' interest in speaking Javanese more actively. This research concludes that the integration of wayang art in Javanese language learning is effective in improving elementary school students' speaking skills.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of noisy text resulting from Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on certificates, which hinders effective classification in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) contexts. To mitigate this issue, researchers propose the use of prompt-based denoising leveraging a Large Language Model (LLM), specifically the Gemini model, to refine the extracted text prior to classification. The methodology integrates OCR via PyTesseract, LLM-driven denoising using structured prompts (CSIR, CLEAR, and CO-STAR), and a BERT-base-uncased model for classification. Synonym replacement is also applied for data augmentation. Performance evaluation is conducted using accuracy, validation accuracy, confusion matrix, and classification reports. The results demonstrate a substantial improvement in classification performance. The baseline scenario achieved an accuracy of 82.14%, whereas the best-performing prompt structure, CO-STAR, reached 98.81%, marking an increase of over 15 percentage points. Similar trends were observed across all evaluation metrics, with CO-STAR delivering the highest precision, recall, and F1-score values. In conclusion, incorporating LLM-driven denoising through effective prompt strategies enhances the quality of OCR-extracted text and significantly boosts classification outcomes in certificate-based applications.

Abstract

Soil moisture is a crucial factor in agriculture that affects plant growth and crop productivity. In modern agricultural systems, accurate soil moisture monitoring is essential for optimizing water usage and enhancing the efficiency of automatic irrigation systems. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based soil moisture monitoring system and evaluate the performance of three types of soil moisture sensors: Soil Moisture FC-28, Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor, and Soil Moisture Hygrometer Module Sensor. The evaluation compares the accuracy and effectiveness of each sensor in measuring soil moisture. The research methodology involves measuring soil moisture in ten different soil samples using the three sensors simultaneously. The system is based on the ESP32 microcontroller, where data from the sensors are processed and displayed on an LCD Liquid Crystal I2C 20x4. Data analysis is conducted using the one-way ANOVA statistical method to determine whether there are significant differences among the measurement results of the three sensors.The results indicate that each sensor exhibits different measurement characteristics based on its working principle. The Soil Moisture FC-28 sensor, which operates on resistance, shows high sensitivity to changes in soil moisture but is susceptible to corrosion. The Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor is more durable as it does not have direct contact with the soil, yet it requires more precise calibration. Meanwhile, the Soil Moisture Hygrometer Module Sensor provides more stable results under various environmental conditions. The one-way ANOVA analysis reveals no significant differences in the measurement results among the three sensors.

Abstract

The need for environmentally friendly marine transportation continues to increase, especially in tourist areas such as Penyengat Island, Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands. In the local context, the design of electric boats has not been widely developed for small islands in Indonesia, even though the potential and urgency for its application is very high. Geographical constraints, limited charging infrastructure, and a lack of technical data are the main obstacles. This research focuses on the design and construction of an electric-powered tourist boat prototype with an asymmetrical catamaran hull type as an effort to support a sustainable transportation system. The boat design applies an asymmetrical catamaran hull configuration to improve sailing stability and energy efficiency. The propulsion system is controlled via a wireless PS2 joystick integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller, supported by a 24V DC motor powered by lithium-ion batteries and solar panels as a supplement. Test results show that the boat can operate stably with remote control, good energy efficiency, and zero emissions during operation. Some technical challenges encountered include limited operational duration due to battery capacity and high sensitivity of electronic components to water exposure. Overall, this prototype has great potential for further development as an environmentally friendly alternative for maritime transportation system. The stable catamaran hull design provides advantages in terms of comfort and safety, especially in calm or shallow waters. The electric propulsion system used has proven to be efficient and responsive, supported by a remote control mechanism that is easy to operate via a wireless joystick

Abstract

Object recognition in images is a major challenge in digital image processing with wide applications, including agriculture. This research aims to develop a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model based on the Inception-ResNet-V2 architecture for insect pest classification in agriculture. The dataset contains 1,591 images from 13 pest classes, which were processed through preprocessing stages such as resizing, normalization, and augmentation to enhance data quality and variation. The model training process was conducted for 10 epochs, resulting in an accuracy of 89.52% with a loss of 0.4024. The research results indicate that the CNN model can be used to detect and classify insect pests with a high level of accuracy across several classes. This system is expected to help farmers identify pests more efficiently, support decision-making in pest control, and improve agricultural yields.
