<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze how the intensity of TikTok usage, the types of content consumed, and the patterns of mother–child interaction contribute to the moral development of children in Trimulyo Village, particularly in the aspects of obedience to rules, empathy, self-control, responsibility, and honesty. This research is motivated by the increasing habit of parents, especially mothers, using the TikTok platform as a form of daily entertainment, which may indirectly influence the formation of children’s morality. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach using purposive sampling, involving five parents who are active TikTok users and five children aged 7–12 years. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the Head of Trimulyo Village, parents, and children, as well as supporting documentation such as village profiles and records of family digital activities. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while the validity of the data was tested through source triangulation. The results show that parents’ excessive use of TikTok has a significant impact on the decline of children’s moral quality, which is reflected in reduced emotional interaction, weakened parental supervision, and an increasing tendency of children to imitate online content without moral understanding. Although some positive content exists, uncontrolled use of TikTok tends to influence children’s behavior more negatively. These findings emphasize the importance of digital supervision and strengthening the role of parents as moral role models within the family.]]>
