<![CDATA[This study develops and validates an Android-based volleyball test instrument designed to address the lack of standardized, technology-driven assessment tools in sports coaching education. Existing evaluations of volleyball skills are predominantly manual, resulting in inefficiency, limited scalability, and potential subjectivity. To bridge this gap, the study adopts a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The participants included expert validators (instrument, media, and language) and university students as end users. This application integrates a comprehensive assessment of basic volleyball skills into a single, unified digital platform supported by learning guides, integrated video demonstrations, and an automated scoring and reporting system. Validation outcomes indicate high feasibility, with expert evaluations ranging from 95% to 96%, while user testing achieved 91.3%, demonstrating strong acceptance and usability. The key novelty of this study lies in the integration of standardized skill assessment instruments with real-time digital processing in a mobile environment, moving beyond conventional instructional media toward a data-driven evaluation system. The application significantly enhances assessment efficiency, consistency, and objectivity, while enabling scalable implementation in higher education settings.
