<![CDATA[This study aimed to analyze errors in students' speech performance, focusing on accuracy, fluency, and comprehension among fourth-semester English Education students at STKIP YPUP Makassar in the academic year 2024/2025. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Six students were selected as samples using purposive sampling. Instruments included observation sheets, audio recordings, and field notes. Data analysis techniques involved descriptive error analysis to categorize errors into major components in speaking; accuracy, fluency, and comprehension issues. The findings revealed that students struggled with grammatical inaccuracies, mispronunciations, vocabulary gaps, hesitations, and topic maintenance. These errors significantly impacted communication effectiveness. The study concluded that targeted interventions integrating accuracy, fluency, and comprehension practice are essential to improve students' speaking skills.]]>
