This community service activity aims to increase adolescent knowledge and awareness about balanced nutrition and encourage healthy eating behaviors among students at the Prima Husada Health Vocational School in South Tangerang City. The activity was conducted on April 26, 2024, using an interactive lecture and question-and-answer method using a one-group pretest-posttest design with 28 students. The material covered basic nutritional concepts, the principles of balanced nutrition, the importance of breakfast, anemia in adolescents, and the impact of consuming foods high in sugar, salt, and fat. Evaluation results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 6.8 to 12.9 (an 89.7% increase), demonstrating the effectiveness of the outreach in improving student understanding. More than 70% of participants demonstrated positive behavioral intentions to adopt a healthy breakfast, limit fast food consumption, and read nutrition labels. Participants also expressed high levels of satisfaction with the delivery method and materials. Although the evaluation design did not use a control group, this activity was shown to increase nutritional literacy and readiness for behavioral change in adolescents. This program has the potential to be replicated in other schools as a promotive and preventive effort to improve adolescent health.
