<![CDATA[Osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disease characterized by decreased bone mass and microstructure damage, thus increasing the risk of fractures, especially in the elderly. Public knowledge about early prevention of osteoporosis is still relatively low, even though prevention can be done through a healthy lifestyle such as calcium and vitamin D consumption and regular exercise. This counseling aims to improve community knowledge through direct counseling conducted at Nusantara Health Primary Clinic, Medan Helvetia in May 2025. A total of 29 participants attended this activity and were evaluated using a post-test questionnaire. Results showed an average knowledge score of 100%, from the good category. The counseling proved effective in improving the community's understanding of osteoporosis and its prevention. Implementation constraints were due to lack of coordination between us and the community which made the community attend less because some people had posyandu activities carried out on the same day. This counseling is expected to increase the knowledge and awareness of the community at the Pratama Nusantara Health Clinic about the importance of preventing osteoporosis early on.]]>
