<![CDATA[Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), and Life Expectancy (UHH) are the main indicators in assessing the health status of the community. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2020, approximately 810 women die every day due to pregnancy complications. In Indonesia, the MMR has increased from 83 per 100,000 live births in 2022 to 98 per 100,000 in 2023. One of the main causes of the high maternal mortality rate is preeclampsia, which is a serious pregnancy disorder and is the second highest cause of maternal death (24%) after hemorrhage. Early detection through appropriate pregnancy examinations can prevent more severe complications. In Indramayu Regency, 1,567 cases of preeclampsia/eclampsia were recorded in 2023, spread across 49 Community Health Centers, with Plumbon Community Health Center recording the highest number of 59 cases. This community service activity was carried out in the Plumbon Community Health Center area, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency. The goal of this activity was to improve community knowledge and skills in recognizing and preventing preeclampsia through the provision of holistic maternity nursing care. The activity included outreach and maternal health services, particularly in early detection of preeclampsia, over two days. The activity demonstrated high enthusiasm and received support from the community and village government, which is expected to contribute to reducing maternal morbidity and mortality in the area.]]>
