<![CDATA[Fokus The primary focus of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is student character development, but in reality, student participation in the classroom is often inadequate when faced with real-world situations. The purpose of this study was to explore the impact of problem-based learning (PBL) on improving student learning activities in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study used a qualitative approach, with classroom behavior as the design, and involved high school students as research subjects. Data collection included interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate a significant increase in student activity after the implementation of PBL. Furthermore, students reported a better learning experience and higher levels of learning success. This research also contributes to the development of interactive and effective learning models to enhance students' understanding and awareness of Islam]]>
