The development of e-commerce has encouraged the use of electronic contracts as the basis for legal relationships between parties. This study aims to analyze the validity of electronic contracts in e-commerce transactions under Indonesian law. The method used is normative juridical with a statutory regulatory approach. The results indicate that electronic contracts are valid and binding as long as they meet the requirements for a valid agreement as stipulated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code and are recognized by the Electronic Information and Transactions Law as valid legal evidence. Therefore, electronic contracts have the same legal force as conventional contracts as long as they meet applicable provisions
