<![CDATA[Archives play a crucial role in preserving information and documentation about the nation's government, social, and cultural activities. This study aims to determine the procedures for borrowing and returning physical archives and the obstacles encountered in borrowing and returning them at the Static Archives Service Unit of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia. This study employed a descriptive approach, including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that obstacles exist in borrowing and returning physical archives. These findings indicate that existing risks can be minimized with mitigation strategies tailored to these obstacles. This study recommends the need to modernize the archives borrowing system and conduct regular archive checks.]]>
