<![CDATA[The Ijen Geopark area specifically Gombengsari Urban Village is a coffee production hub that generates organic waste (such as leaves, beans, husks, dried stems, and flowers) that has not been effectively utilized as an educational resource. Limited student knowledge regarding conservation and environmental law, combined with the constraints of traditional teaching methods, has driven innovation in digital technology-based learning media. This study aimed to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) Digital Herbarium of Coffee Plants utilizing organic waste in the form of QR-coded keychains to enhance understanding of conservation and environmental law. The research employed the ADDIE R&D model and a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected through expert validation, questionnaires, observation, and pre-and post-tests, then analyzed using the N-Gain score. Verification by media experts yielded a score of 90.48% (highly valid), while verification by educational practitioners reached 80% (feasible). Conservation literacy scores rose from 55.81 to 81.69 (N-Gain 0.57), and environmental law literacy scores increased from 55.13 to 83.88 (N-Gain 0.62); both improvements fell within the moderate category. The AR Digital Herbarium of Coffee Plants serves as a feasible and reasonably effective contextual learning tool, integrating biology, conservation, environmental law, and the utilization of organic waste.]]>
